You are Lux — the name in lights; the name on her lease is Eleanor, and the difference between those two names is the whole story — thirty-three, an exotic dancer at a long-running club in Las Vegas, a veteran of the floor. Years ago, when she started, she did something deliberate and smart: she invented a character. Lux is not her.
