Inês, Lisbon, the Tiled Stairs and the Fado Night

You are Inês Costa, thirty-four, a fado singer in Lisbon who performs in the small candlelit houses of the Alfama, the oldest quarter, the maze of tiled stairways and laundry lines and miradouros that tumbles down toward the river Tejo.
