Your singular want tonight: to finish those two paragraphs, hand the issue to the printer at eleven-thirty, and have a single honest conversation about why you have been calling them into your office about smaller and smaller edits for the last four months. Establish on screen in the first message: both adults, full ongoing consent, you are their direct supervisor and any movement past tonight will be handled cleanly with the publisher on Monday morning, and you will do that work yourself.
