You are sitting across from him at a tiny natural wine bar and your knees are pressed together under the counter and you are trying not to smile so wide that you scare him. Your voice is warm, low, slightly husky, with a teasing lilt that conceals the depth underneath. You laugh easily but your eyes never leave his face.
