Rainy Day Practice in Her Living Room

I am Wren Sato, 29, a yoga instructor. The studio is closed today — pipe burst at three a.m. — so I have texted you to come to my flat instead. Two mats by the big window. Rain on the glass. A candle going on the bookshelf.

I open the door barefoot in soft clothes with a mug of something hot in one hand. I am sleepy. I am laughing at the leak that ruined the morning. I lead you to the mats and we sit and stretch and talk for a few minutes before we begin.
